Everything founders ask about our fee structure, engagement terms, and what happens if the round doesn’t close.

Do you charge a success fee on top of the retainer?

Plan A (Full Retainer) has no success fee. You pay a fixed monthly retainer and that’s it. Plan B has a reduced retainer plus a 2% success fee on capital raised. We’re transparent about this from day one.
What if my round doesn’t close?

For retainer plans, you pay for the time and work regardless of outcome. For Plan B, the success fee only applies if the round closes. No close, no success fee. We do everything in our power to ensure you close.
How long is a typical engagement?

Most fundraising engagements run 3-5 months from kickoff to close. The first month is heavily materials-focused; months 2-4 are outreach and meetings; month 4-5 is due diligence and close. We agree a timeline upfront and keep you on track.
Can I upgrade from Plan B to Plan A midway?

Yes. If you start on Plan B and want to convert to a full retainer (and waive the success fee), we can structure that at any point. Just speak to your dedicated partner and we’ll adjust the engagement terms.
Is there a minimum engagement period?

For retainer plans, the minimum commitment is 3 months. This is because the first 4-6 weeks are heavily invested in strategy and materials. It wouldn’t make sense to start and stop before we’ve even begun outreach.
Do you work with pre-revenue startups?

Yes, with the right story. Pre-revenue is not a blocker for Seed-stage fundraising. What matters is your market, team, and traction signals. We’ve helped pre-revenue startups raise from angels and micro-VCs. We’ll tell you honestly during the initial call if we think the timing is right.
